I CAN’T FIND AN INTERNSHIP! IN BANKING / FINANCE?
Posted: November 17th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: women in banking and finance | Tags: Banking, can't, Finance, find, internship | 1 Comment »My GPA is not really good usually the 2.9.
But we go to the tip 3 university in Texas which has constructed countless politicians, commercial operation group as well as women etc. etc..
My Question-
Most internships need the 3.0 MINIMUM to even request for an talk slot. I’ve searched my college database as well as nothing of the internships which concede next the 3.0 have been in promissory note or finance. How the ruin do we find an internship which would even cruise me?
My vital GPA is the 3.2 though we know which my GPA doesn’t matter. Look during Joe biden, George bush, Michael dell the countless successful college dump outs. we have friends during Harvard as well as alternative ivies which have been upon the same egghead turn as me. though does which even make the difference when the employer cuts me out from even the f#$ing talk since i was the pre-med my beginner year (both summer schools+ Fall AND Spring) as well as got 2 C’s in biology as well as 2 C’s in chemistry. silly
anyways i’m repetition though where else should i check?
I’d conclude any assistance or guidance!

You are allowed to put your major GPA ONLY on your resume if you specifically state that that is what it is. That is not false information. Your major GPA is basically what really matters anyways, and once you get past that “hoop” then you’ll be able to show off your brilliance through your networking skills, intellect, etc. Real-life is much different than school, but GPA is a way for employers to just narrow down the search a little.
Once you put your 3.2 and start getting your interviews make sure you explain that that is your major GPA, but that should help you to get to the interviews. Some companies may be strict about overall, but most that I have interviewed with will take either or, and probably will be more happy that your major GPA is solid. Good luck.
